More Vs Less
This is my favourite verse......but I always forgot where in the bible it was...... finally found it today and the explanation behind it with the bible study guide....
Luke 12: 48 (NKJV)
"But he who did not know, yet committed things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been commited, of him they will ask more."
Luke 12: 48 (NLT)
"But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given."
In short:
The more resources, talents, and understanding we have, the more we are required to use them effectively.
